Police are appealing for witnesses and relevant footage following a single vehicle collision on the A30 near Pathfinder Village in Devon.
Police were called at around 5.50pm on Friday 14 November following a report of the collision involving a grey VW Transporter on the westbound carriageway.
Sadly, as a result of the collision, the driver of the VW – a man in his 60s from Northamptonshire – was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Officers would like to thank motorists for remaining patient while investigation work was carried out.
