A talk about the history of the world famous Whiteway's Cyder Company which had its headquarters in the village of Whimple for most of the twentieth century with particular reference to its advertising. The twentieth century was a golden age for advertising art and Whiteway's commissioned some beautiful posters and labels from some of the top graphic artists of the time. This talk is being given by Whimple History Society committee member, Jo Yarwood.
