Residents of Devon and Somerset are being asked to help by telling the Fire Service how they think it should be using its resources, by completing a short survey.
The Service has launched a survey to find out what people’s views are. Those comments, alongside incident data and risk analysis, will help inform the draft plan before it goes out for further consultation.
Area Manager Jon Worsley, of Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service, said: "We are asking for your help as we start to develop our new Community Risk Management Plan, which will be in place next year until 2032.
“The plan will outline what risks we face, and how we will seek to manage them, to make people safer where they live, work and visit.”
The Service needs to make sure that we understand the risks we face across Devon and Somerset so that we can effectively respond in an emergency and reduce the risk where possible.
The survey is anonymous and will take around 10 minutes to complete. More information, as well as a link to fill in the survey, is on our website.
