There’s only 50 days to go until the biggest women's sport event of the summer happens here on our doorstep.
The Women's Rugby World Cup is coming to Sandy Park in Exeter with seven glorious matches, including two quarters finals, taking place at the home of Exeter Chiefs.
A fan zone will be held in Princesshay where people will be able to watch all the action on a big screen in the city centre.
Rugby fans will be able to gather and watch all the action in Princesshay Square where live coverage will be shown on the big screen each day of the tournament starting with the opening ceremony and first England match on Friday 22 August 2025.
To get people in the mood, Princesshay will host a free family fun event on Saturday 5 July from 11am and 3pm.
There will be free face painting - with a suggested charity donation to Princesshay’s Charity of the Year Vranch House - a rugby themed doodle wall for budding artists and a rugby rodeo.
Visitors will also be able to enjoy live acoustic music from Adam Moran and Roger Styles and meet the Exeter Chiefs mascot who will be onsite along with the Exeter Chiefs merchandise truck.
Sports enthusiasts will also have the opportunity to try non-contact rugby through taster sessions led by Exeter City Community Trust as part of their Stive 215 programme.
Tickets are still available for matches at Sandy Park, so don’t miss out and secure one today at https://tickets.rugbyworldcup.com/
