The local policing team have recently received reports of persons causing anti-social behaviour at an address in the Countess Wear area
In recent weeks there has been an escalation which prompted police and the council to instigate proceedings using powers associated with social behaviour.
Reports have included behaviour relating to drunkenness, shouting and swearing and damage to property causing upset to other residents.
One of the main instigators of causing such issues was initially served a Community Protection Warning however the terms of this were very quickly breached and so a Community Protection Notice was served. The terms of this were also quickly breached so the subject was arrested for this as well as multiple other offences.
This person has since been charged and bailed to court for breach of CPN as well as associated public order offences and currently has a condition not to enter Exeter as set by the courts and will be appearing again later next month for sentencing.
