Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a serious road traffic collision which took place last night [Wednesday 26 November] on Exeter Road, (the old A30) in Gittisham, Honiton.
Emergency services were called at around 5.40pm where it was reported that a collision had occurred involving a blue Skoda Elroq and a Debri Senda 50cc motorcycle.
The rider of the motorcycle, a 17-year-old-local male, suffered serious injuries and was taken to Derriford Hospital. The car driver was not injured.
The road was closed while an investigation was carried out at the scene. Officers from the Roads Policing team would like to thank the public for their patience.
