The incident occurred in the early hours of Wednesday morning, when suspects used a vehicle to smash through the front of the convenience store before removing the ATM. The dramatic scene has sparked concern among residents.
Devon and Cornwall Police have confirmed they were called to the scene and are now appealing for witnesses or anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage from the area around the time of the incident.
