To protect visitors at Beer Beach, the section by Ducky's has been cordoned off, until the cliff fall has been inspected and made safe.
This cliff work will be completed by contractors, on behalf of Clinton Devon Estates, who are responsible for this section of cliff.
Cliff falls are a natural and unpredictable occurrence along the East Devon coast; the rock from which the cliffs are formed is soft, and therefore prone to rock falls and landslides, which can happen at any time.
