Dance groups are getting the chance to take part in a celebration of dance event at Exeter’s Cathedral Green.
The event is part of the community engagement programme for the Women’s Rugby World Cup 2025.
Exeter is a proud host city for the tournament, and the dance event is to welcome the New Zealand team and celebrate local culture with some of the New Zealand players.
The celebration of dance takes on Friday 29 August, between 3.30pm and 5pm.
The community engagement programme aims to connect visiting teams with the local community through cultural and social activities.
It includes a variety of initiatives, such as school visits, coaching clinics, and cultural exchanges. It’s a fantastic opportunity for teams to give back to their host cities and to learn more about the local culture and traditions.
Anyone wishing to take part is asked to email rwc2025@exeter.gov.uk with a contact name, email address and details of the dance group.
