People living in Exeter are being urged to return a form to ensure they are able to vote in the next elections.
The annual Electoral Registration Canvass is drawing to a close.
Residents in the city would have received a form a number of weeks ago from the City Council’s electoral services. If households have a form that requires a return, they should go online or put it in the post as soon as possible.
If they haven’t been returned, now is the time to do so. Canvassers will be out and about over the coming weeks reminding people to return their completed forms by mid-November.
This will ensure that all residents will be included on the register when it’s published and they won’t lose their right to vote.
It also saves the Council money by not having to call at addresses.
