The Manor Pavilion Theatre Sidmouth has announced its reopening following the refurbishment of its auditorium.
Theatre-goers can enjoy a refurbished auditorium with bespoke new seating, retaining the charm of the traditional theatre while improving the theatre experience.
The venue has reopened with a much-anticipated show from East Devon Dance Academy: Debut from the Small to Big Screen featuring talented young dancers from the local community.
Other highlights of the 2026 programme include 'Evita' the musical over Easter, the 'History of Rep Season' talk, comedy nights and the iconic Summer Play Season 2026.
The popular venue continues to flourish with audience numbers increasing year after year. Demand is so strong that performances are already being booked as far ahead as 2028.
Manor Pavilion Theatre Manager, Graham Whitlock, said:
"A great deal of research and time went into choosing traditional theatre colours. The ceiling has been painted purple with the art deco features highlighted in gold.
The new seats have been specially made for the venue and upholstered in bright red fabric to create a warm and inviting atmosphere.
With our upgraded auditorium, we can now continue to provide first-class entertainment for future generations."
