Police are appealing for information following a series of thefts from vehicles in Newtown, St Leonards, Heavitree, and Whipton, Exeter.
The thefts, which mainly occur between midnight and 5 a.m., involve power tools and other electrical items. Officers urge residents to secure vehicles and remove valuables.
Some stolen tools have been recovered, and police are keen to return them to their owners. Victims should report thefts, providing descriptions of stolen items.
Anyone with information or CCTV footage is asked to contact police via the Devon & Cornwall Police website or by calling 101. Information can also be reported anonymously through Crimestoppers at 0800 555 111.
