Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian on Bowhay Lane, Exeter.
The collision involved a 10-year-old boy and a black Ford Mondeo being driven by a local male and was first reported at around 6.30pm on Friday 19 July.
As a result of the collision the boy suffered serious injuries and was taken initially to Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital and then onto Bristol Children’s Hospital where he is currently being treated. The driver of the Mondeo and his front seat passenger were uninjured.
