Police investigating a fatal road traffic collision in Exeter on Tuesday 1 October are appealing for any witnesses to come forward
Officers were called to reports of a road traffic collision involving a black VW Polo on Chantry Meadow at around 10.45am.
Emergency services attended.
Sadly, the driver of the vehicle, a local woman in her 90s, died at the scene. Her next of kin have been informed.
Officers would like to thank the public for their assistance and patience whilst the road was closed.
The scene was handed over to highways at around 4.50pm.
