Detectives are currently investigating reports of a stabbing which happened in the Newcourt area of Exeter, in the early hours of this morning.
Police were notified just after midnight to reports that a man had been stabbed in the leg on Blakeslee Drive.
The victim was taken to hospital. His injuries are serious but not believed to be life-threatening.
The two suspects made off from the scene and are currently outstanding. They were described as male, wearing face coverings and dressed in dark clothing, and were using electric scooters prior to the incident.
A scene guard is currently in place on Blakeslee Drive in Exeter while we continue with our enquiries.
This is believed to have been an isolated incident and there is no wider threat to the public.
