Police are appealing for witnesses and footage following a serious assault in Cranbrook.
Police were called at around 9.10pm on Monday 1 September following a report of a 17-year-old male being assaulted at Morrisons Supermarket in Cranbrook.
The victim was taken to hospital to be treated for suspected stab wounds. His condition is not believed to be life-threatening.
Scene guards remain in place.
A 15-year-old boy from Cranbrook and a 17-year-old boy from Cranbrook have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and remain in police custody.
Detective Inspector Neil Lloyd said “We understand that whilst crimes of this nature are rare, there will be a concern in the local community. There will be an increased police presence in the area today while we collect evidence and speak to witnesses.
“We are not looking for anyone else in relation to the incident at this time.
“If you have any concerns or saw something please speak to the officers or call us on 101.
“We would also urge anyone who lives locally to check CCTV footage and dashcams that may have captured relevant footage.”
