Police are appealing for witnesses and dash-cam footage following a fatal road traffic collision in Exeter.
Police were called at around 4.35pm on Thursday 9 October following a report of a collision involving a car and a motorcycle on Trusham Road, Marsh Barton, at the junction with Marsh Green Road East.
The motorcyclist – a man in his 20s from Cullompton - sustained serious injuries and was sadly pronounced deceased at the scene. His next of kin has been informed.
Devon and Cornwall Roads Policing Team and local response officers attended the scene.
Following an investigation, the road was re-opened. Officers would like to thank the public for their patience while the road was closed.
A woman in her 30s from Exeter was arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving and has been released under investigation.
