Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a serious two-vehicle collision on the eastbound carriageway of the A380 near Haldon Hill in Devon.
It was reported at 5.20pm on Thursday 19 September that a collision had occurred involving a blue Peugeot car and a black and red motorcycle.
As a result of the collision, 65-year-old male motorcycle rider from Newton Abbot sustained serious injuries and was taken hospital in Exeter.
The driver of the car was uninjured.
A local man in his 50s has been arrested on suspicion of driving while unfit through drugs, causing serious injury by dangerous driving and other offences. He has been released on police bail.
