Police Constable Sean Tooley aged 32, from South Devon, is charged with two counts of making a false statement in order to procure or renewal of a firearm or shot gun certificate and is due to appear at Exeter Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 5th November.

Police Constable Sean Tooley, aged 32, from South Devon, is charged with two counts of making a false statement in order to procure grant or renewal of a firearm or shot gun certificate.
The charges relate to two incidents which occurred in December 2023, when the officer was not on duty.
PC Tooley was interviewed under police caution in August 2024 and has remained on restricted duties since that time.
