People living in Exeter are being invited to tap into funding to make their homes more energy efficient.
The Warm Homes: Local Grant can help cut soaring energy bills.
Applications opened on Sunday 14 September and the scheme operates on a first come, first served basis and will close once all places have been filled.
To be eligible, homes must be privately owned (this can include landlord-owned properties) and have an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) of D, E, F or G. Those who are not sure of their rating can check when they apply.
Those applying must also have a household income of £36,000 a year or less. Those who earn more might still be eligible if someone in their household is getting certain benefits or their live in a certain postcode area.
Due to a high expected demand, not all eligible applicants will receive support. All submissions will be reviewed in order of receipt.
Some applicants may be contacted for further information to assess their suitability for the scheme. If selected, they will need to provide documents proving their eligibility.
Residents are strongly urged not to delay. There is no guarantee of a second application round until after March 2027.
Those not eligible may still qualify for support under other programmes such as ECO4. For help, visit: Energy Saving Devon at https://www.energysavingdevon.org.uk/
