Vandals have caused £19,000 worth of damage to a sound barrier at an Exeter skate park.
Exeter City Council has called on the public to report any further damage to the acoustic barrier at Arena Skate Park in Whipton, to the police.
Cllr Ruth Williams, Lead Councillor for City Management said: “It saddens me to see this damage, which is occurring on a regular basis.
“The acoustic barrier was installed some years ago and is vital in dampening down the noise from the skate park, which can affect residents living nearby.
“I would encourage anyone who sees the acoustic barrier being vandalised or any other items at the skate park or nearby to report the damage to the police,” added Cllr Williams.
