Busy day for Exmouth RNLI

It was a busy day for the Exmouth volunteer lifeboat crew on Wednesday, 22 July, supporting two separate multi-agency incidents alongside our emergency service partners.

In the early hours of the morning, the crew launched at 4.45am at the request of HM Coastguard to assist Police with the search for a missing person along Exmouth seafront. Later joined by RNLI colleagues from Teignmouth and Torbay, the search continued until all lifeboats were stood down shortly after 1pm when the person was thankfully found safe and well on land.

Later that day, the crew were involved in another multi-agency response to help search for two children who had become separated from their parents. Thankfully, they too were found safe and well.

A long and busy day for our volunteers, but
