Businesses, charities, community groups and organisations from across Dawlish are being encouraged to attend a free Business Support & Networking Event this October.
Hosted jointly by Dawlish Town Council and Devon County Council, the event will take place on Tuesday 20 October 2026, from 4.00pm to 6.00pm, at The Manor House, Dawlish (EX7 9AP).
The session has been designed to put local organisations at the centre of the conversation. Rather than focusing solely on existing support programmes, attendees will be invited to share the real challenges they face and identify what would make running their organisation easier in 2027.
Organisers are asking businesses and organisations to discuss issues that cost them time, money, energy or opportunities, helping to shape future business support, skills development and training opportunities across the area.
The event will explore questions such as:
- What is holding your organisation back?
- What support would make the biggest difference?
- How can businesses save time and reduce costs?
- What skills are needed for future growth?
- What training and development opportunities would benefit local teams?
Attendees can expect a relaxed and informal networking environment, with complimentary teas, coffees and refreshments provided. Participants will also have the chance to make valuable contacts, gain fresh ideas and leave with clear next steps for their organisation.
The event is free to attend, but organisers are encouraging interested organisations to register in advance.
