Paddling pools at Heavitree Pleasure Ground in Exeter will reopen this weekend (Saturday 6 June).
The reopening of the popular water play facility will allow families and visitors the chance to make a splash during the summer season. The pools will be open daily from 10am to 7pm daily).
The reopening was delayed slightly to allow preparatory works to create an enhanced new facility, which will eventually replace the paddling pools.
It is expected that work to create the new water-play facility will begin once the paddling pools close towards the end of the summer.
Across the city in St Thomas, the Splashpad is already attracting fun-seekers with its colourful play area and jets of water. The facility is open daily from 10am to 7pm.
