Residents and visitors to Teignmouth will be able to enjoy spectacular views for miles, following the arrival of a new observation wheel at The Den this week.
The 36‑metre‑high wheel, featuring multiple enclosed gondolas and seating, will offer panoramic views across Teignmouth and the surrounding coastline, providing a unique new way to experience the town.
Over the past week, the wheel has been transported to the site in small sections, attracting considerable local interest and generating excitement among residents and visitors alike.
The observation wheel will be located adjacent to the footpath leading from the zebra crossing on Den Crescent to the Promenade, directly in front of the new Teignmouth Town Council public toilets. The attraction which opened this weekend, will be in place for a period of four weeks.
