APPEAL | Officers are appealing for witnesses and information following a fatal collision at Budleigh Salterton.
Police were called at around 9pm on Sunday 3 May to the B3178, East Budleigh Road, following a report of a single vehicle collision.
It was reported that the vehicle had left the road and come to rest in a field.
The driver of the car was sadly pronounced deceased at the scene. Her next of kin have been informed.
A passenger was taken to hospital to be checked for minor injuries.
Officers from the Roads Policing Team would like to thank the public for their patience whilst the road was closed for an investigation to be carried out. The road was reopened at around 9am on Monday 4 May.
