Business support events are to be held in Dawlish and Newton Abbot over the coming weeks, following the success of an initial event in Teignmouth.
The free event in Teignmouth last month (September), hosted by Teignmouth Town Council in collaboration with us, was an opportunity for businesses to find out about support that’s available in their area.
Due to its popularity, additional events will now be held at The Manor House in Dawlish next Tuesday (20 October) and Newton’s Place in Newton Abbot on Tuesday 24 November.
The events in Dawlish and Newton Abbot will aim to bring together local businesses with a range of stakeholders including South Devon College, Exeter College, the Federation of Small Businesses and local Chambers of Commerce.
We will be on hand with our teams from the Connect to Work employment support programme, Train 4 Tomorrow skills bootcamps, and the newly launched Devon Business Support programme which provides one-to-one guidance from experienced advisers, alongside mentoring and specialist workshops. Learn Devon, the County Council’s adult education service, will also attend.
