In last night's Southern league one Exmouth Town kept up their great start to their new season at the higher level with a hard won victory over Wimbourne Town at Southern road.

Dean Billingsley scored the only goal in a tight finish on 86 minutes in front of a crowd of almost 400 to put them in second spot after 2 wins from 2 .

In the Peninsula League East Cullompton Rangers got their first win of the new season with a 1-0 victory over Honiton at Speeds Meadow.

Teignmouth lost 3-1 away to Bovey Tracey at Mill Marsh and Elmore got the better of visiting Bridport by 2 goals to 1 at Horsdon Park.
