In last night's local football Exmouth Town progressed to the next round of the Devon Bowl with a 6-5 penalty shootout victory over Crediton Utd at Southern Road.
Leading 2 -0 at the break with goals from Mark Lever and Levi Landricombe the visitors put on a much-improved performance after the break scoring two goals of their own to level and take the time to penalties. In the other cup game tonight, it was a similar finish with Tiverton Utd going through to the next round beating Axminster town 3-1 on penalties after scores were level at 3-3 at full time.
