In local football on Friday night in the first of their preseason friendlys Exmouth Town were narrowly beaten 2-1 by National league south side Truro City at Southern Road.

In local football on Friday night in the first of their preseason friendlys Exmouth Town were narrowly beaten 2-1 by National League South side Truro City at Southern Road.

Deservedly leading at half time Town were undone by two quick goals from the visitors after the break and although a few chances can they could not find the equaliser their  efforts deserved.
