Local cricket fixtures for this weekend

We take a look at this weekends local cricket fixtures.

In local cricket on Saturday in the Devon premier division Exmouth welcome South Hams side Cornwood to the Maer ground in what should be a close game with both sides looking to move up the table . Sidmouth also have home advantage with the visit of bottom club Plympton to the Fortfield, struggling Paignton host Bovey Tracey at Queen's park while Exeter entertain league leaders Bradninch/ Kentisbeare at the county ground.

In division A Torquay/Kingskerswell have home advantage with the visit of East Devon side Kilmington to the recreation ground but Abbotskerswell travel to West Devon to take on Hatherleigh at Littlewoods lane.

While in division B after last weeks 6 wicket victory Budleigh Salterton go looking for more points when they visit Torquay side Barton at Cricketfield road, Clyst St George host North Devon side Bideford/ Westward Ho! at Bohea, Teignmouth/Shaldon welcome Cullompton to Hazeldown and Ipplepen take on Stoke Gabriel at Moor road.

In C division East Seaton have home advantage over Exmouth second eleven, Alphington Countess Wear welcome Heathcoat second team to the Chronicles while Ottery St Mary travel to North Devon to play Braunton at the Kelsey ground.

Finally in division D east Topsham St James play host to Shobrooke park at the University sports but Upottery make the short trip to play Ottery St Mary second eleven at Strawberry lane and Whimple visit Bradninch/Kentisbeare seconds at  Rectory park .
