In the Tolchard Devon Premier League Sidmouth gained bragging rights over neighbours Exmouth with a 96 run victory at the Fortfield Ground.

In local cricket this weekend in the Tolchard Devon Premier League Sidmouth gained bragging rights over neighbours Exmouth with a 96 run victory at the Fortfield ground. The home side got maximum points in their chase of leaders Sandford while Exmouth picked up losing bonus points to secure Premier Division cricket next season.

In the A Division Budleigh Salterton found themselves at the bottom of the league with relegation looking likely after defeat at Tavistock by 5 wickets and Clyst St George are also in deap trouble after losing to league leaders Exeter at the Bohea field. 

In the B Division Cullompton had a comfortable 8 wicket victory at Ipplepen while Ottery St Mary beat Teignmouth and Shaldon by 55 runs at Strawberry Lane in Division C East.

Finally in Division D East Topsham St James had a 2 wicket victory in north devon against Barnstaple/Pilton but Upottery were well beaten by 6 wickets at the Holt by Budleigh Salterton Second Eleven.
