In the A division Budleigh Salterton lost their place as league leaders with the closest of defeats at home to Thorverton beaten by just a single run and new boys Clyst st George dropped to the bottom of the table after they were well beaten by 122 runs at Tavistock. In division B Cullompton had a deserved 35 run victory at Bovey Tracey second eleven while in the C division East Ottery st Mary had a massive 201 run win at North Devon second string after scoring 351 in their 45 overs .In division D east Topsham st James beat visiting Upottery by 44 runs at the University sports ground and finally in the E division east Woodbury/Newton st Cyres combined had a 53 run victory over Honiton at Mountbatton Park .
