Local football fixtures for this weekend

After many games being postponed last weekend our local football sides hope for some kinder weather this weekend.

In local football on Saturday after Tuesday night's Devon Cup game against Newton Abbot Spurs was called off Exmouth Town return to Southern league one south action when they welcome Yate Town to Southern road and will be looking for urgently needed points to try to stave off their relegation threat this season .

In the Peninsula league east Cullompton rangers host south Devon side Teignmouth FC at Speeds Meadow, Honiton Town have home advantage over league leaders Ivybridge Town at the Memorial ground but Axminster Town have to travel to north Devon to take on Torridgeside afc at their Donnacroft fields ground all these games KO at 2-15. While Sidmouth Town have home advantage over visiting Okehampton Argyle at Manstone lane and Crediton Utd play host to Newton Abbot Spurs at Lord's Meadow with a 3pm start .

In the A &S Devon league Budleigh Salterton welcome Feniton FC to Greenway lane, Topsham Town host Bere Alston Utd at the Coronation ground but Beer Albion travel to north Devon to take on Barnstaple Town Reserves at Mill road with Ottery St Mary going in the other direction to play Plymstock Utd at their Dean Cross Park ground.

Finally in the Devon and Exeter premier league Colyton FC travel to west Devon side Okehampton Argyle reserves at their Simmons Park ground and in the first division Lympstone Utd make the short trip to Duckes Meadow to take on the University 3rd eleven, East Budleigh are away to Bow AAC at Burston Meadow but Dawlish Utd have home advantage with the visit of St Martin's to the leisure centre. While in division 2 Exmouth Spartans welcome South Zeal Utd to the Commons ground but Tipton St John make the journey to Barley Park home of Tedburn St Mary. Lastly Otterton FC welcome Ex Dons to Stantyway with Axmouth Utd hosting Sandford reserves at Boshill Cross.
