A look at this weekends local football fixtures

In local football on Saturday after Wednesday's night's surprise F A cup defeat at the hands of Brixham fc Exmouth Town return to Southern League one action with a trip to Melksham Town  looking for another 3 points to keep up their unbeaten start to the season.

In the Peninsula league east all our local clubs are engaged in F A vase action except Cullompton Rangers who host Teignmouth fc at Speeds Meadow .In the vase Sidmouth Town entertain North Devon side Torrington FC , Crediton Utd welcome western league side Buckland Athletic to Lords Meadow and Bovey Tracey have home advantage over Liskeard Athletic at Mill Marsh lane with Newton Abbot Spurs taking on Ivybridge at Marsh road on Friday evening.

In the A&S Devon league Beer Albion host Alphington at Stover lane, Topsham Town visit Plymouth side Lakeside Athletic and Ottery St Mary also visit Plymouth to take on University side Marjons .
