Local Football Fixtures for this Weekend

Rundown of this weekend's local football matches

In local football on Saturday in the Southern League One South after losing a close game last weekend Exmouth Town will be looking to get their promotion hopes back on track when Salisbury side Bremerton Heath visit Southern Road, while in the Peninsula League East Sidmouth Town could go back to the top of the league by beating visitors Newton Abbot Spurs at Manstone Lane as current leaders Okehampton Argyle are engaged in a FA Vase third round fixture at Portishead.

Crediton Utd host struggling Bishop's Lydeard at Lords Meadow, Cullompton Rangers entertain Plymouth side Elburton Villa at Speeds Meadow, Honiton Town have home advantage with the visit of Middlezoy Rovers to Mountbatten Park but bottom of the league Axminster Town travel away to Bovey Tracey's Mill Marsh Park with Teignmouth FC going to North Devon to take on Torridgside FC at Donnicrofe.

In the A&S Devon League, leaders Alphington FC make the short trip to Exeter University, Budleigh Salterton host North Molton SC at Greenway Lane, Ottery St Mary welcome Plymstock Utd to Washbrook Meadow, Topsham Town have home advantage with the visit of Bere Albion Utd to the Coronation Ground with Elmore playing host to Newtown FC at Horsdon Park while in the County Cup Beer Albion travel to North Devon to face Fremington FC.

In the Devon and Exeter League Premier Division Colyton FC welcome Sidmouth Town Second Eleven to the Peace Memorial Ground and St Martin's entertain University Second's at Minster Park while in Division One Lympstone Utd have home advantage with the visit of Elmore Utd Second Eleven at the Marine Camp but East Budleigh have to travel to Wessex Park Rangers.

In Division 2 Exmouth Spartans have a trip to West Devon side South Zeal Utd while Dawlish Utd are at home to Broadclyst FC at the Sports Centre.

In Division 3 Tipton St John visit University 5th Eleven at Duckes Meadow and finally in Division 7 Exe Utd welcome Exmouth Town U25s at the Sidford Recreation Ground with Axmouth Utd travelling to Bradninch FC at their Kensham Ground.
