Once again the weather put pay to many of our local football fixtures, here's the results from those games that did take place.

In local football on Saturday there was only one real winner and that once again was the weather starting with the cancellation of Exmouth Town's southern league one south game at Westbury Utd due to a waterlogged pitch.

While in the Peninsula league east just one local match was completed with Teignmouth afc beating visiting Torridgeside FC 3-2 at Coombe Valley.

In the A & S Devon league Ottery St Mary won by 2 goals to 1 at Newtown with Beer Albion progressing on the county cup with a 5-2 victory over visitors North Molton S C.

In the Devon and Exeter leagues only two local games survived with Ottery St Mary reserves loosing 5-3 to Wellington second's at Washbroke Meadow in division one but East Budleigh second eleven easily beat visiting Lyme Regis reserves 5-0 at home in division 3.
