A Round up of this weekends footballing action
In local football on Saturday Exmouth Town were without a fixture but remain just outside the relegation zone due to Polton Rovers home defeat against Bashley.
In the Peninsula league east Crediton Utd lost ground in the promotion race when they were beaten 3-0 by league leaders Ivybridge Town at Lord's Meadow, Honiton Town had to settle for a scoreless draw at home to Okehampton Argyle, Newton Abbot also had a draw at north Devon side Torrington afc finishing 2 goals apiece but Sidmouth Town beat visiting Bishops Lydeard 2-1 at Manstone road .
In the A&S Devon league Beer Albion gained a 1 all away draw at Bere Alston Utd and Topsham Town also drew 1 all against Elmore Utd at the Coronation ground but Ottery St Mary beat visiting Budleigh Salterton 4-3 at Washbroke Meadow.
Finally in the Devon and Exeter premier League Colyton FC beat visiting Lapford 4-1 at Axe Valley but Upottery lost 4-1 at west Devon side Winkleigh .In division one Exminster based St Martins beat Newton St Cyres 1-0 with Otterton winning 3-1 against Whipton&Pinhoe at Stantyway in division 6
