A round up of the results from this weekends local football
In local football on Saturday in the Peninsula league east current leaders Cullompton Rangers beat North Devon visitors Torridgeside fc 4-2 at Speeds Meadow while bottom of the table Axminster Town lost 3-0 to Teignmouth fc at Tigers Way. Sidmouth Town remain second after a convincing 6-1 victory over new boys Middlezoy Rovers at Manstone lane and Newton Abbot Spurs won 3-0 at Torrington AFC but Bovey Tracey lost 4-0 at Dorset side Bridport FC while Stoke Gabriel/Torbay Police drew 2 all with Plymouth side Elburton Villa at the Churchward memorial ground.
In the A&S Devon League Beer Albion beat visiting Appledore fc 2-1 at Stovar lane , Budleigh Salterton convincingly won 4-0 against Plymstock Utd at Greenway lane, Ottery St Mary had a runaway 7-2 victory over Bere Alston Utd at Washbrook Meadow and Topsham Town easily beat Ipplepen Athletic 6-1 at their Moor road ground but Alphington fc were held to a 3 all draw at Dartmouth Utd's Longcross ground while Newtown FC lost 2-1 to North Molton S C at station road .
Finally in the Devon and Exeter league's ,in the premier division Clyst Valley lost 2-0 to Wellington reserve's at Winslade park while in division 1 Exeter side Central fc beat Lympstone Utd 2-1 at George V playing fields and East Budleigh won 4-3 against Elmore Utd second eleven at the recreation ground. In division 2 Dawlish Utd won 2-1 against visitors Tedburn St Mary at the leisure centre and Exmouth Spartans convincingly beat Witheridge 5-0 at the Commons but Seaton Town were well beaten 7-2 at home to Clyst Valley reserve's .
In the third division Tipton St Johns beat Fenton second eleven 2-0 at the playing fields and in division 5 Ex Dons drew 2 all at Cheriton Fitzpaine and finally in division 7 Axmouth Utd lost 3-1 to visitors Westexe Park rangers reserves at Roman road and Exe Utd were beaten 4-2 by South Zeal Utd second eleven at the Commons ground.
