Local football report from the weekend

Sunday, 5 November 2023 13:15

By John Hannaford East Devon Radio Sports Reporter

Most of our local football matches were postponed due to the poor weather conditions.

In local football on Saturday the after effects of storm Ciaran took its toll and all but two of our local fixtures were cancelled with heavy overnight rain adding to the problems.

There was just the two results and that was a 4-2 Devon cup victory for Beer Albion at Plymstock side Morley Rangers and a A&S league win for  Exeter side Newtown afc with a runaway 5 goals to 0 victory also against another Plymstock based side Plymstock Utd .
