Local football results from the weekend

In local football on Saturday Exmouth Town moved back into the western league promotion places with a narrow 1-0 victory over visiting Bridgwater town at southern road In front of over 400 spectators .

With the game remaining scoreless and a draw looming the ever tireless Levi Landricombe rounded the approaching keeper to tap home the winner in the 75th minute.

In the peninsula league east Sidmouth lost 2-0 at league leaders Torpoint Athletic and Axminster town had a well deserved 2 all draw at second placed Brixham Utd . Honiton town lost 4-1 at home to Ivybridge town and struggling Ottery st Mary were once again well beaten ,this time by 9 goals to nil by Elmore at Washbrook meadow but Cullompton Rangers came away with a scoreless draw at Dartmouth Utd .

In the Scott Richards Devon league Topsham town were held to another scoreless draw at North Molton but Teignmouth moved into the next round of the league cup with. 4-2 victory over Plymstock Utd .

In the Joma Devon and Exeter premier league Dawlish Utd beat Ottery st Mary seconds 4-1 on Friday evening but on Saturday Beer Albion lost by 4 goals to 1 at league leaders Lapford , in division one Lympstone Utd had an easy 7-0  victory at Halwill and East Budleigh had a well deserved home 6-2 win over  Hatherleigh town but Upottery could only manage a 3 all draw against Bow AAC at Glebe park. In the second Division Exmouth Spartans had a convincing 4-2 victory away at Chagford and Tipton st John won at home by the same score against visitors Winkleigh and finally in the local derby game in division nine Exmouth Rovers beat Ex Don's 1-0 at the Commons ground
