Exmouth Town produced another fine away performance with a 2-0 victory at Lymington after two late goals from Landricombe & Lever gave them another 3 points in their chase for top spot.

In local football on Saturday in the Southern League One South Exmouth Town produced another fine away performance with a 2-0 victory at Lymington after two late goals from Landricombe and Lever gave them another three points in their chase for top spot.

There were no league fixtures for our local sides in the Peninsula League as their were all involved in Parson Cup games, Sidmouth Town progress to the next round at the expense of Honiton Town with a 2-1 victory at Manstone Kane, Cullompton Rangers also go through with another 2-1 win over Cornish side St Dennis at Speeds Meadow, Teignmouth narrowly beat visitors St Austell 1-0 at Coombe Valley and Crediton Utd easily knocked out home side Sticker by 4 goals to 0.

In the A&S Devon League second placed Beer Albion won 3-0 at Barnstaple Town Reserves and Ottery St Mary beat Feniton in the local derby 2-1 but Budleigh Salterton went down 4-2 to Appledore at Greenway Lane and Topsham also lost, going down 2-1 at Thorverton.

Finally in the Devon and Exeter League Division One East Budleigh easily beat visiting Hatherleigh 6-1 at Vicarage Road but Lympstone Utd lost 3-0 away to Bow AAC.

In Divison Two Exmouth Spartan's had a 4-2 victory over University Fourth Eleven at Warren View and in Division 7 Exmouth Rovers beat Seaton Town Reserves 3-1 away but Upottery were held to a 2 all draw by City Raiders Second team at Stantyway with Ex Dons easily accounting for Bampton Reserves by 6 goals to 0 at the Commons Ground in Divison 8.

In the East Devon Senior Cup Dawlish Utd were knocked out at Newton St Cyres loosing on penalties 4-3.
