In local football, in the Southern League One South after a poor run of defeats Exmouth Town returned to winning form with thumping 5-0 victory over visitors Frome Town at Southern Road.

First half goals from Ace High and Jordan Harris gave them a 2 -0 lead at half time and with Harris completing his hat trick and a goal from Aaron Denny after the break Town ran out comfortable winners.

In the Peninsula League East Crediton Utd remain in second place behind leaders Okehampton Argyle after their 3-1 victory over Teignmouth at Lords Meadow, Axminster Town were held to a 0-0 draw at Elburton Villa and Honiton Town also drew at Newton Abbot Spurs by 1 goal apiece.

Sidmouth Town lost 1-0 to visitors Bovey Tracey at Manstone Lane but Cullompton Rangers had a comfortable 4-0 victory at North Devon side Torrington AFC. 

In the A&S Devon League leaders Beer Albion drew 1 all at Fremington, second placed Budleigh Salterton lost 2-1 at Appledore and Topsham Town drew 1-1 at the Coronation Ground with Thorverton while Ottery St Mary were well beaten by 4 goals to nil away to Newtown at Station Road.

In the Devon and Exeter Leagues Dawlish Utd lost 5-2 at Sandford in the Premier Division while in Division One Lympstone Utd won 2-0 at Coombe Valley against Teignmouth Reserves, Upottery beat University 3rd Eleven away 1-0 but East Budleigh were hammered 6-0 by Beer Albion Second Eleven at Fursebrake.

In Division Two Exmouth Spartans had a narrow 2-1 victory over TiptonsSt John at the Commons Ground and finally in Division 7 Exmouth Rovers easly overcame Priory FC by 6 goals to 3 in Heavitree.
