In the A&S Devon League Beer Albion had a comfortable 3-1 victory over visitors Thorverton at Stovar Lane but Budleigh Salterton were beaten by 2 goals to 1 by Barnstaple Town Reserves at Greenway Lane.
Topsham Town lost 3-2 at Plymouth side Lakeside Athletic and Ottery St Mary went down by the same score to North Devon visitors Appledore at Washbrook Meadow. Next week sees the start of the Devon and Exeter Leagues.
