A round up of the weekends local football results.
In local football on Saturday in the Southern league one south after last weekends excellent 4-1 away victory Exmouth Town dropped back into the relegation zone after losing to a late goal from visitors Tavistock Utd at Southern Road. Meanwhile in the Peninsula league east on Friday evening Axminster Town had the better of a high scoring game beating Sidmouth Town 5-4 at Tigers Way and on Saturday Crediton Utd won easily over visiting Dartmouth Utd by 4 goals to 0 at Lords Meadow. However Cullompton Rangers lost 1-0 to Elburton villa at Speed's Meadow and Honiton Town went down 3-1 at Newton Abbot Spurs.
In the A&S Devon league Ottery St Mary lost 3-2 at Bere Alston Utd but in the Devon Cup Budleigh Salterton beat visiting side Plymouth True Blues 3-1 at Greenway Lane and Beer Albion reached the the next round with a 2-0 victory at Appledore Lions.
In the Devon and Exeter premier league Upottery easily over came Crediton Utd reserves 4-1 at Glebe Park while in Division two Tipton St John narrowly lost 1-0 at Feniton second eleven and finally in division 6 Ex Don's overcame Whipton and Pinhoe 4-3 at the Exeter Arena.
