Local rugby fixtures for this weekend

By John Hannaford East Devon Radio Sports Reporter

In local rugby this Saturday there is a reduced fixture list due to it being a rest week but a few clubs take the opportunity to catch up on cancelled games.

In the Regional one south west after Exmouth Cockels narrow loss against Barnstaple last weekend hopes will be high for victory when they travel to Cornwall to take on Launceston at Polson.

While in Regional two and Counties one western west there are no fixtures for our Devon clubs but in Counties two Devon,  Exeter Saracens host third placed Torquay Athletic at the Exhibition ground and Honiton entertain Exmouth Quins at Allhallows and in Counties three north and east Exeter Athletic welcome north Devon club Torrington while Kingsteignton based New Cross have home advantage with the visit of Okehampton seconds and Tiverton Quins host neighbours Crediton Quins at Bolham road .
