Once again in local rugby the weather caused several cancellations due to heavy overnight rain and waterlogged grounds
Exmouth Cockles home Regional one south west fixture with Matson being called off early due to conditions but in Regional two Topsham had the better of a 135 point thriller at Rackerhays running out 88-47 victors over host Newton Abbot and Sidmouth easily beat visitors Wellington 50-0 at the Blackmore ground to remain top. Crediton keep up the chase with a 38 points to 19 victory over Wadebridge Camels at Exhibition road and Cullompton had a narrow 16-15 win over Cornish side Truro at Stafford Park but Teignmouth were beaten 21-18 at North Petherton .
In Counties one Western West Tiverton's improved form continued with a 46-0 victory in Cornwall over Falmouth while in Counties two Devon Withycombe, Honiton and Exeter Saracens games were all postponed and in Counties Devon north and east there was just one fixture with Teignmouth seconds and Sidmouth Quins drawing 10 points each at Bitton Park.
