In local rugby on Saturday in the Regional One South West Exmouth Cockles entertained fellow midtable side Ivybridge and as expected a close result finished in a 25-18 win for the home side with two late penalties for the Cockles giving them the 4 points.
in Regional Two Sidmouth were beaten at Rackerhays by Newton Abbot 33-25 but Crediton finished their season as runners up with a 34-12 victory over visitors Truro at Exhibition Road and Teignmouth had a comfortable win at lowly Sherborne by 36 points to 17.

In the Counties Two Devon Withycombe finish their season with a 15 points to 7 defeat at Barnstaple ll's, Honiton lost to league runners up Torquay Athletic 26 -17 at Allhallows but Exeter Saracens had a runaway 48-10 victory at home to visitors Devonport Services.
Finally in Counties Devon East with all fixtures now completed Exeter Athletic lost 29-0 to league champions OPM's at Oil Mill Lane.
