Local rugby results from the weekend

A round up of all of this weekend local rugby action

In local rugby on Saturday in the Regional one south west Exmouth Cockles convincingly beat visitors Ivybridge by 60 points to 14 at the Imperial ground and secured their 5th place in the league.

While in the Regional two Crediton moved to the top of the division with a comfortable 49-20 victory over fellow Devonians Teignmouth at Exhibition road, Sidmouth also moved up the table to third after their 21-15 win over Cullompton at Stafford Park with Topsham gaining a convincing victory by 41-23 at Chard .

In Counties one Western West Tiverton had  runaway 50 points to 10 win at Cornish side Bude at Bencolan but in Counties 2 Devon Withycombe couldn't repeat last weeks home victory and were beaten 25-7 at Exeter Saracens while Honiton narrowly lost 22-20 to South Molton at Unicorn Park .

Finally in Counties Devon north and east Exeter Athletic went down 22-0 to Okehampton 2s at Oaklands Park and New Cross were narrowly beaten 28-26 at the Bonfire field  by Topsham second fifteen.
