A round up all of the action from this weekends local rugby fixtures.
In local rugby on Saturday in the Regional one south west Exmouth Cockles had a narrow one point victory over host Okehampton at Oaklands Park by 22 points to 21 with a late score in the last 5 minutes. While in Regional two Sidmouth retained top spot with a 34-20 win over Teignmouth at Bitton Park, Crediton kept up the pressure on them with a convincing 43 -5 victory at Somerset side Burnham on Sea and Topsham had a massive 61 points to 7 win over North Petherton at the Bonfire field but Cullompton went down 33-14 at Cornish side Wadebridge Camels .
In the Counties one Western West Tiverton beat visitors Kingsbridge 19-5 at Bolham Road while in Counties two Devon Withycombe got back to winning form with a thumping 55-0 victory over Plymouth Argaum at Raleigh Park, Exeter Saracens had the better of Ivybridge second fifteen winning 32-19 at Cross in Hands but Honiton were on the wrong side of a 69 points to 7 drubbing at league leaders Torquay.
Finally in the Counties three Devon, East and North, Cullompton seconds narrowly beat Tiverton Quins 15-13 at Stafford Park, Newton Abbot reserves lost 35-7 to Okehampton 2s at Rackerhays and Sidmouth Quins were well beaten by visitors Topsham seconds 49-7 at the Blackmore ground.
